Commercial Projects
Beck-Reit and Sons, Ltd. has a wide range of experience in the
development and construction of commercial projects. These include
commercial office space, industrial warehouses, retail spaces, and
multi-family projects. We are completed a wide range or mixed use
projects, some of which are listed below.
Renovation of Building 3000 at Austin Community
College
This project is a complete renovation of the old Austin High
School Gymnasium, located on the downtown campus of Austin
Community College. Beck-Reit and Sons completed the structural
repairs of the roof and the interior framing for General Contractor,
Barlett Cocke LLP. Safety and timely completion of the
work were paramount on this project.

Piccadilly Office Suites
The Picadilly Office Suites is a 10,000sf commercial office park
that includes extensive infrastructure work, high end finishes, and
50,000 concrete paving. This project was completed in 7 months, 5
weeks
ahead of our construction schedule.

G5 condo project was
designed by Michael Hsu and included modern design elements with high
end finishes. The five unit
townhouse project, consisted of two and three story living spaces with
garages.

1101 East 6th
Street
Complete renovation of the Capital Paint Building at 1101 East 6th
Street. The existing building will be gutted and re-constructed
into a mixed use structure with two residential lofts on the second
floor and commercial office space on the first floor. Completion is
scheduled for early 2007.

Satsuma 53
This is a 10,000sf mixed use project. The project includes 5000sf of
retail and restaurant space on the first floor and additional 5000sf
of residential loft space on the second floor. The project is
designed around a central courtyard with a copper clad and masonry
exterior. The interior spaces are open with a contemporary loft feel.

1502 South 1st
This is a 18,000sf mixed use project in the heart of South Austin.
The project includes 1500sf of restaurant / café space with an
additional 11,000sf of residential loft space. The building is a
combination of 2 and 3 story structures centered around a 100 year old
pecan tree.
